From my first conversation with Marisa, it was clear that supporting birth and birthing people is her passion. She is extremely communicative and responsive, and was clear about her availability and our plan (while also being flexible and responding to changes in my health status). Marisa is committed to providing a comprehensive birth education and worked hard to make sure I felt prepared. When it came to the delivery, I had a very long induction and she was great about checking in, discussing decisions that we needed to make, and providing both educational and emotional support. Marisa made sure she was with me as labor picked up and was a huge support during the hardest part of my labor — she had lots of ideas, tools, and was physically and emotionally present and supportive. She is also full of tips and smart ideas for getting the most out of your hospital stay. If you are looking for a hands on, super supportive, and highly communicative doula, Marisa is the one for you!

Marisa is hands down the best doula you could ever have! We connected and immediately hit it off — and I could instantly tell that she would be able to advocate for me during my labor and delivery experience as a first time mother. She came with lots of invaluable knowledge, support, and absolutely played a huge role in my amazing birth experience. My fiance and I are so grateful for her. I gave birth 3 weeks early, and she was right there with us in the hospital for 9+ hours of my delivery. She made my birth experience pleasant and allowed me to realize that I could really do birth again. She is still such a great resource post birth as well. We love you Marisa!

We had an amazing doula experience with Marisa! Prior to delivery she helped me with labor prep exercises and with preparing a birth plan. At the hospital, Marisa provided valuable support throughout my labor, delivery and postpartum course. During a small postpartum complication, Marisa was there to provide support to me and my baby. Post-delivery, she came to our house and assisted me with breastfeeding support. We highly recommend her!

Finding Marisa last minute was an absolute blessing. From our very first interaction, she was highly responsive and provided so much reassurance and information leading up to my birth. Because I was being induced, she made sure I knew exactly what to anticipate, and she rushed to the hospital the moment I called. Her physical and emotional support during the hardest parts of my labor was incredible, and she worked beautifully alongside the hospital nurses to advocate for my comfort. I highly recommend her — she made such a difference during my labor!

We interviewed multiple doulas but Marisa felt like the best fit! She made me feel at ease and provided a lot of information prior to our delivery. She made herself available at all hours even on her vacation to Europe. She said she was going to be our new best friend and she certainly was, especially during a vulnerable and new experience. She continually thought of things to help our comfort and experience even in the middle of it all. She's truly a great advocate!

I cannot recommend Marisa enough! She was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and reassuring. Even though my support was virtual, she truly made me feel like she was right there with me every step of the way. She made me feel confident in my choices and fully supported me when I changed my mind on things, without judgment or pressure. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares, listens and empowers you, she is absolutely amazing!

Marisa was excellent! From the first time we met with her online, until our little one was born, she was amazing! She is very knowledgeable and informative, really made us feel comfortable to ask anything! She's very caring and compassionate — highly recommend!!

Marisa was amazing all the way through my pregnancy and postpartum. She provided so much knowledge during our first pregnancy. She visited us in the hospital and helped with feedings once we returned home. Highly recommend her!
